About Us: The Farmers Cooperative Elevator Association of Levelland, TX is a proud member-owned cooperative serving the agricultural community of Levelland and surrounding areas since 1956. We are committed to providing our members with high-quality fuel, grain marketing, and other essential services.

About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Fuel Manager. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our fuel department, supporting the Fuel Manager, and providing exceptional customer service to our members and the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Fuel Manager with all aspects of fuel operations, including:

    • Ordering and receiving fuel deliveries

    • Managing fuel inventory levels

    • Scheduling fuel deliveries to members

    • Maintaining accurate records and reports

    • Performing inventory reconciliation

    • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations

  • Provide excellent customer service to members and the community, including:

    • Operating fuel pumps and dispensing fuel

    • Answering questions about fuel products and services

    • Processing payments and resolving customer concerns

    • Maintaining a clean and professional environment

  • Perform other duties as assigned, including:

    • Assisting with maintenance and repairs of fuel equipment

    • Participating in safety training and meetings

    • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the fuel department

  • Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment

    • Strong working knowledge of fuel products and services

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

    • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
