Keynote Speakers

  • Tucker Brown, Ag Advocate — Tucker Brown is from Throckmorton, Texas. He is a sixth generation cattle rancher. Brown is active in his family’s operation, R.A. Brown Ranch and serves on the Leadership Development Committee for Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. As a “farm gates always open” type of person, Brown said he doesn’t hesitate to answer hard questions about the beef industry and loves showcasing their West Texas multi-generational ranch. He was recognized as 2022 Advocate of the year from the Texas Beef Council.

  • Brian Bledsoe, Meterologist— Brian was raised on a ranch 45 miles Southeast of Limon, Colorado. He obtained his Meteorology degree at the University of Northern Colorado and has been in broadcasting for the past 20+ years. He been worked at KKTV since late 2005. Aside from TV, he runs his own private forecasting business and does seasonal and long range weather consulting for various interests across the country. Brian joins us to explore where our weather patterns are headed short term and long term

  • Mike Pearson, Economist — Mike Pearson was born and raised in South Central Iowa, where he grew to love agriculture on his family’s hog and cattle farm. After graduating from Simpson College, Mike moved to Grinnell, Iowa where he had the chance to build his own cow herd in addition to working as an agricultural lender. Over the next 10 years, Mike left the world of finance and entered the world of media. He’s previously hosted “Market to Market” on Public Television, the Ag News Daily podcast, and currently, viewers can find him behind the anchor desk on “This Week in Agribusiness” on RFD-TV.

NEW This Year

This year we will be hosting a TACC-PAC Awards Reception Monday 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. U.S. House of Representative August Pfluger will be joining and speaking at the reception.

Congressman Pfluger grew up in San Angelo before graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy. He served twenty years as a decorated fighter pilot, later as an advisor on the National Security Council, and still serves as a Colonel in the Air Force Reserves.

In Congress, Rep. Pfluger is the first Member to represent Midland and Odessa on the Energy and Commerce Committee. He also serves on the House Committee on Homeland Security, and co-founded the MACH 1 Caucus and the Texas Ag Task Force.
